Dynastic Orders of Koreiva House

1. Royal Order of the Ancient Balts

This Order has been instituted in honour of my ancestors, the ancient Baltic Kings, the Sovereign Princes of Kreva (Koreiva), and all our ancestors, the ancient Baltic tribes and peoples.

At the centre of the Order, we see an eight-pointed star. This symbol is associated with the Latvian mythical character Auseklis and is used in the weaving of Latvian and Northern Lithuanian national sashes, towels, throws, as well as in the knitting of sweaters, gloves, wristbands, and national dress. In Latvia, it is also known as the Lithuanian star, symbolising the continuity of day and night.

Inside the star, there is a circular cross. The cross represents the relationship between spirit (the Heaven and God) and matter (Earth). The circle, the ring, and the cross are often found to be interchangeable. It is a symbol of the sun loved by the Baltic people.

The eight-pointed star is surrounded by the symbols of the major ancient Baltic festivals, signifying the cycle of nature’s change: the Dew Holiday (Rasos), the Rye Festival, the Autumn Equinox, All Souls’ Day (Ilgės or Vėlinės), Christmas Eve (Kūčios, corresponding to Christmas), Užgavėnės, the Spring Equinox, and Jorė.

The Baltic culture and the genetic pool have become the foundation of the modern nations of Eastern, Central, and some parts of Western Europe. Therefore, the moiré sash is white on the outside and red on the inside, symbolising the ancient Baltic blood and its genetic pool that constitutes the largest part of our region’s genetics.

The Order is made of modern metal alloys, plated with silver that has a millesimal fineness of 1000, gold that has a millesimal fineness of 1000 or 24 carats, and enamel.

The medal is classified in five ranks: Knight, Officer, Commander, Grand Commander, and the Grand Cross.

2. Order of the Polish–Lithuanian Commonwealth

The Most Honorable Order of the Polish–Lithuanian Commonwealth. The Dynastic Order of Koreiva - Imperial and Royal House.

Slogan:

“If God is with us – who can stand against us”

The Polish–Lithuanian Commonwealth, formally known as the Kingdom of Poland and the Grand Duchy of Lithuania. The Commonwealth was established by the Union of Lublin in July 1569, but the Crown of the Kingdom of Poland and the Grand Duchy of Lithuania had been in a de facto personal union since 1386 with the marriage of the Polish queen Hedwig and Lithuania's Grand Duke Jogaila, who was crowned King jure uxoris Władysław II Jagiełło of Poland. The First Partition in 1772 and the Second Partition in 1793 greatly reduced the state's size and the Commonwealth was partitioned out of existence with the Third Partition in 1795.
